How to check Webway's service status and get outage updates

Open the status page

Visit status.webway.host. It shows current incidents and planned maintenance affecting Webway services.

Check it before changing website, DNS or email settings during what looks like an outage.

Check the affected component

Look for notices about hosting servers, network connectivity, email, DNS, the client area and other listed services. Open an incident for updates and progress.

Subscribe to updates

Use the subscribe option on the status page to get notified. It's worth doing if you manage an important website or several client accounts, and it saves opening a duplicate ticket during a known incident.

What does a green status page mean?

A green page means Webway hasn't identified a general incident. It doesn't rule out:

  • A problem with one hosting account
  • Incorrect DNS or an expired domain
  • A broken website or plugin
  • A full mailbox or hosting account
  • A resource limit
  • A firewall block affecting your IP
  • A local internet or device problem

Test from another network

Try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, another device, a private browser window, or webmail instead of your email app. If it works elsewhere, include your public IP address when you contact support. See My website works for others but not for me.

Check your own account

For a website problem, see My website is down: is it the server, DNS or my site?

Contact Webway Support

Use Support › Open Ticket at portal.webway.host, or email support@webway.host. Webway responds within 30 minutes. See What to include when you contact support.
