How to brand DirectAdmin for my clients
What can I customise?
DirectAdmin branding depends on the permissions and skin options available to your reseller account. Options may include your business name, logo, colours, support links and contact details.
The server login page and some system messages may keep server-wide branding.
Open the branding settings
- Sign in to DirectAdmin on port
2222. - Confirm that you are at Reseller level.
- Open the available skin, customisation or branding settings.
- Upload your branding assets.
- Enter your company and support details.
- Save the changes.
If no branding tool is available, open a support ticket; some appearance settings are controlled at server level. Don't edit DirectAdmin's installed skin files directly.
Prepare your logo
Use the dimensions DirectAdmin asks for, remove empty space, optimise the image, and check it stays readable when reduced and on light and dark backgrounds. Don't put important contact details only inside an image.
Add your support details
Where the reseller interface allows it, add your support email address, support website, knowledge-base link, business name, and terms or policy links. Make it clear that your clients should contact your business for first-line support.
Configure private nameservers
Branded nameservers such as ns1.yourbrand.co.za are set up with Webway Support. See How to set up private nameservers for my reseller account. Don't point client domains to them before Webway confirms they're active.
Brand emails and invoices separately
DirectAdmin branding doesn't change messages sent by your billing platform: welcome emails, invoices, reminders, suspension notices or support messages. If you use WHMCS, connect it with the standard DirectAdmin WHMCS module. See How to connect WHMCS to my Webway reseller account.
Preview the user-level experience
- Open Account Manager → List Users.
- Select a test user.
- Choose Login as that user.
- Check your logo, links and contact details.
- Return to reseller level when finished.
