# How to setup recurring (monthly) payments


## Introduction

There are two ways in which you can setup recurring monthly payments, taking the hassle out of having to make payments manually:

1. Using the Stripe payment method ( **recommended**)
2. Using the PayFast subscribe payment method

## 1. Stripe payment method

* Login to the [client area](https://portal.webway.host/login)
* Hover over `Billing`, and click on `Payment Methods`
* Click on `Add New Credit Card`
* Add your credit card details and click on `Save Changes`

## 2. PayFast subscribe payment method

* Login to the [client area](https://portal.webway.host/login)
* Hover over `Billing`, and click on `My Invoices`
* Click on the unpaid invoice that you would like to create a recurring payment for
* From the `Payment Method` dropdown on the right side, select `PayFast`
* You can now click on the `Subscribe` button just below the dropdown
* You will be redirected to PayFast where you can either login to your PayFast account to complete the recurring payment setup, or simply enter your card details that will be debited each month
